We are seeking a professional to fill the role of Occupational Safety Technician III.

**Responsibilities and duties** **Activities to be performed**:
* Ensure the effectiveness of the Occupational Safety Management System by coordinating corporate audits, analyzing compliance, and monitoring strategic indicators—aiming to guarantee adherence to applicable legislation, internal standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Lead investigations of serious and fatal accidents through in-depth technical analyses, evidence collection, root cause identification, and structured action plans—aiming to prevent recurrence and strengthen the safety culture.
* Define and review technical criteria for approving Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protective Equipment (CPE), through regulatory assessments, technical validations, and operational performance analysis—aiming to ensure corporate standardization and technical compliance.
* Consolidate critical analyses of accidents, deviations, and nonconformities by preparing executive reports and technical opinions—aiming to support strategic decision-making by leadership.
* Technically assess proposals and projects related to fire and panic protection systems through documentary analysis and verification of compliance with applicable standards—aiming to ensure technical compliance, operational safety, and risk mitigation.
* Develop, review, and standardize corporate audit and inspection checklists by defining methodological criteria and technical guidelines—aiming to unify evaluation processes across the Group’s distribution companies.
* Monitor implementation of the Safety Monitoring Program (PMS) by analyzing evidence, tracking action plans, and identifying improvement opportunities—aiming to reinforce preventive controls and risk management.
* Disseminate corporate safety best practices across distribution companies through technical forums, training sessions, workshops, and strategic presentations—aiming to elevate the maturity level of the Occupational Safety area.
* Critically analyze the execution of legal occupational safety programs and regulatory requirements, proposing structural improvements and corrective actions—aiming to reduce exposure to operational risks, labor liabilities, and regulatory penalties.
* Provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level professionals conducting audits, inspections, and accident investigations through hands-on technical mentoring and knowledge sharing—aiming to develop analytical capability and strengthen team performance.
**Requirements and qualifications** **Education level:** Completed Technical Education.
**Required qualification:Technical course** in Occupational Safety.
**Courses and specializations (preferred):**
* Bachelor’s degree in Humanities or Exact Sciences, preferably in Occupational Safety Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields.
* Civil Firefighter course.
**Technical competencies:**
* Analytical ability and critical thinking for scenario assessment and decision-making.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Organization, planning, and attention to detail.
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and corporate tools.
* Ability to prepare and analyze technical reports and indicators.
**Desired knowledge and experience:**
* Experience implementing, monitoring, and overseeing Occupational Safety Management Systems in operational and industrial environments.
* Experience conducting safety audits, technical inspections, and investigations of serious and fatal accidents—including root cause identification and action plan definition.
* Experience analyzing occupational risks and applying legal and corporate programs such as PGR, PMS, PEC, and other regulatory requirements related to Occupational Health and Safety.
* Knowledge of technical specification, evaluation, and approval of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protective Equipment (CPE), in accordance with Regulatory Standards and applicable technical standards.
* Solid knowledge of labor legislation and Regulatory Standards (NRs), with emphasis on NR\-06, NR\-10, NR\-35, and other NRs related to the Power Electrical System (SEP).
* Experience preparing technical reports, opinions, corrective action plans, and analyses of deviations and nonconformities.
* Knowledge of fire and panic protection systems, including technical and regulatory requirements and applicable preventive measures.
* Knowledge of auditing methodologies, development of corporate checklists, monitoring of safety indicators, and analysis of operational performance.
* Preferred experience in the electricity distribution segment, utilities, or highly complex operational environments.
