Come join our team and become a Med Member. **Responsibilities and Duties** Support readiness, response, and emergency care, rescue and salvage operations, prevention activities, and routine tasks at the power plants within Petrobras’ Thermoelectric Park. .• Maintain emergency response materials and equipment in perfect condition, properly sanitized and organized. * Serve on the CONTRACTOR’s Emergency Brigade and respond to emergencies occurring at the CONTRACTOR’s facilities or nearby areas when the Unit participates in a Mutual Aid Plan (PAM). * Develop and deliver training related to prevention, preparedness, and emergency response, as well as SMS-related training, and train multipliers per PETROBRAS instructions and procedures, within the service area as required and upon request by PETROBRAS Supervision; * Participate in training related to prevention, preparedness, and emergency response, and SMS-related training per CONTRACTOR’s guidance. * Inspect fire prevention and suppression resources and equipment, as well as chemical and environmental emergency equipment, provided by the CONTRACTED PARTY. * Plan activities scheduled for the measurement period and update the information systems designated by the CONTRACTOR. * Participate in the Mutual Aid Plan \- PAM (where applicable), either jointly with the CONTRACTOR or independently. * Support planning, readiness, and technical rescue operations for work-at-height and confined-space activities. * Plan, install, and remove support equipment for critical work-at-height and confined-space operations, and perform search, rescue, and salvage to ensure frontline operational coverage; * Provide technical rescue services for personnel using specialized labor during process unit shutdowns; * Identify safe anchorage points for use during rescue operations; * Plan and supervise rescue and salvage operations, and develop and deliver training per PETROBRAS instructions and procedures; * Monitor assembly and disassembly of scaffolding in industrial areas, assessing safety conditions prior to authorizing erected structures; * Periodically inspect existing scaffolds used in routine, pre-shutdown, maintenance shutdown, and post-maintenance shutdown activities; * Inspect and monitor isolation of cargo movement zones to prevent personnel from entering the load’s radius of influence. * Ensure compliance with the Business Area or Business Unit (RGN/UTE) Corporate Standard Procedure for scaffolding assembly and disassembly, which aims to standardize scaffolding assembly/disassembly, maintenance, and safety, as well as the Standard for Work-at-Height Safety; * Conduct pre-determined assessments and audit confined or restricted space activities with environmental monitoring using multi-gas and thermal stress meters supplied by the CONTRACTOR, supporting the CONTRACTOR’s occupational safety technician. Such controls must be recorded on an agreed-upon form with the CONTRACTOR; * Execute inspection and audit plans throughout shutdown phases; * Inspect tools and machinery from contracted companies and label approved items with a specific seal; * Facilitate, monitor, and conduct Daily Safety Dialogues (DDS) across various teams and work fronts; * Support, when requested, in developing and implementing Risk Analyses (RA) for routine activities and across all phases of Maintenance Shutdowns; * Authorize work permits; * Support implementation of the deviation and incident management system for Scheduled Shutdowns at Thermoelectric Plants, and apply knowledge dissemination and training strategies; * Fulfill additional PETROBRAS requests related to Civil Firefighter, Rescue, and Salvage services. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Minimum 2 (two) years of experience in activities similar to the scope of services; * Diploma as Occupational Safety Technician; * Civil Firefighter Certification; * Driver’s License Class D; * Emergency Vehicle Operator Certificate (CVE); * NBR 16710 Certification (Rescue Level Leader); * NR 33 Certification (32 hours); * NR 35 Certification (8 hours); * NR 10 Certification (40 hours); * Advanced NR 20 Part II Certification (32 hours). **Additional Information** Join the Med\+ Team and Transform Lives!
