Job Summary:
Work in occupational safety, implementing training programs, managing PPEs, investigating accidents, and promoting awareness campaigns to ensure a safe working environment compliant with legislation.

Perform occupational safety-related activities aimed at ensuring conditions that eliminate or reduce the risk of workplace accidents, while complying with applicable legislation.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Implement onboarding and routine occupational safety training programs;
* Conduct daily safety talks with the team;
* Distribute and mandate workers' use of personal protective equipment (PPE);
* Collaborate on building modification projects or new company installations;
* Identify and analyze causes of occupational diseases and the environmental conditions in which they occurred;
* Promote campaigns, lectures, and other forms of training;
* Collaborate with CIPA programs by reviewing its observations and proposals;
* Develop plans to control the effects of catastrophes;
* Evaluate workplace accident cases, accompanying injured workers to receive appropriate medical care;
* Analyze SMS reports and programs;
* Support SIPAT by organizing required activities and resources;
* Collect and study workplace accident, occupational disease, and work-related illness statistics, analyzing their causes and severity;
* Handle all procedures related to workplace accidents, including CAT (Communication of Work Accident), absences, etc.;
* Verify SMS practices for compliance with ISO and OHSAS certifications through indicators, targets, and audits;
* Monitor internal and external audits;
* Meet SMS requirements during operational start-ups, presenting necessary legal documentation;
* Monitor and supervise activities performed by occupational safety technicians assigned to operational bases.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Completed Occupational Safety Technician course.
* Registration with the Ministry of Labor;
* Experience in Occupational Safety;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
