JOB DESCRIPTION: * Receiving goods, organizing sector inventory in cold rooms, food handling, preparing seasoned meats and self-service trays, restocking shelves, monitoring product expiration dates, verifying pricing, cleaning and organizing the department, customer service/sales * Setting up refrigerated and frozen display cases and islands with various cuts of meat according to pre-established quality standards to facilitate sales. * Providing direct customer service at the butcher counter, including cutting, grinding, and weighing meat to serve customers effectively. * Assisting in separating products within the department, placing them into appropriate containers—such as ground meat, chicken cuts, sliced steaks, ribs, and roasted meats—and weighing, pricing, and displaying them for sale. * Updating prices on the butcher’s price list as instructed. * Keeping meat pieces inside cold rooms organized to make space for newly arrived stock. * Maintaining order and hygiene in the workplace—including cleaning counters, cold rooms, etc.—to prevent accidents and the proliferation of insects, bacteria, etc., thereby ensuring required quality standards. REQUIREMENTS: * · Completed elementary education; * · Availability to work on a 6-day-on/1-day-off schedule; * · Availability to work from 1:40 PM to 10:00 PM; * · Prior experience in this role is an advantage. * · General meats | Inventory control | Meat preparation | Meat sales and customer service | Food handling.
