The professional will join a collaborative team, contributing robust, scalable solutions aligned with software engineering best practices. **Responsibilities** * Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Ruby on Rails. * Diagnose and resolve performance, integrity, and security issues. * Write clean, efficient code aligned with architectural best practices and design patterns. * Create and maintain automated tests (unit and integration) using RSpec, Capybara, or similar tools. * Implement and consume RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs. * Perform integrations with relational databases, ensuring performance and quality. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams following agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. * Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes. **Technical Requirements** * **Minimum of 6 years of experience in web development.** * **At least 4 years of experience as a Senior Developer in Ruby on Rails.** * Advanced knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or Oracle). * Proven ability to write optimized SQL queries. * Experience with automated testing (RSpec, Capybara). * Proficiency in Git and version control practices. * Experience with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs. * Knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, and Rails conventions. * Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). **Nice-to-Have (Optional)** * Experience with CI/CD. * Knowledge of containers (Docker) and cloud infrastructure. * Experience with service-oriented architectures.
