**Position: Senior Maintenance Excavator Operator –** ***A30*** **Area:** Mining / Operations **Level:** Senior **Job Mission** Operate A30 excavators and other large equipment in mining activities, including loading and production support, ensuring high productivity, operational safety, and quality. Contribute to equipment preservation and continuous operational efficiency. **Main Responsibilities** * Operate A30 excavator for loading off-road trucks and handling ore and waste material. * Perform excavation, drainage, slope cutting, and leveling of mining faces. * Support preventive maintenance, lubrication, and machine cleaning activities. * Execute precise soil movements, adhering to topographic plans and elevation levels. * Assist in infrastructure projects, such as road access and drainage construction. * Monitor equipment performance, identifying noises or anomalies. * Complete operational checklists and report any mechanical failures. * Ensure cleanliness, preservation, and proper use of the excavator and work area. **Responsibilities** * Operate safely, productively, and responsibly, meeting performance and consumption standards. * Safeguard personnel and asset integrity during operations and equipment use. * Strictly follow safety and environmental regulations. * Report hazardous situations and propose preventive solutions. * Collaborate with maintenance, supervision, and production control teams. **Authorities** * Carry out maneuvers and operations within the limits of the assigned work area. * Request technical inspection or preventive maintenance whenever necessary. * Halt operations in case of imminent risk to safety or equipment. * Request materials and tools to support basic maintenance tasks. **Basic Requirements** * Education: Completed Elementary School. * Additional Courses: Hydraulic excavator operation and safety in heavy machinery operation. * Experience: Minimum of **2 proven years** operating an **A30 excavator or similar models (CAT 320, Volvo EC380, Komatsu PC300, etc.)**. **Desirable Requirements** * Education: Completed High School. * Additional Courses: Class C or higher driver's license (CNH), NR\-11, NR\-12 and NR\-22, First Aid, and Defensive Driving. * Experience: 5 years in the role, with open-pit mining experience. **Technical Skills** * Operation of large excavators (A30\). * Basic reading of site plans and terrain topography. * Knowledge of preventive maintenance and inspection of hydraulic and lubrication systems. * Ability to interpret machine performance indicators (hour meter, consumption, pressure). * Understanding of slope, ramp, and mining face safety principles. **Behavioral Competencies** * High attention and focus on operational safety. * Responsibility and care for equipment. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Discipline and commitment to production targets. * Proactivity and ability to make decisions under pressure. **✅** **Benefits** * ️ Group Life Insurance * Housing (accommodation provided) * Company-provided shuttle transportation * ️ On-site restaurant (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) **Employment Type** CLT (permanent) * **Work Schedule** Monday to Friday\-day.
