Job Summary:
This role involves dimensional and visual inspection of manufactured and repaired items, issuing quality reports, and supporting operational teams with technical document consultation.

**TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Perform dimensional inspection of manufactured and repaired items using conventional measuring instruments, geometric measurement technologies with 3D arms, automated three-dimensional measurement, and profile projectors.
* Perform visual inspection of manufactured and repaired items, verifying surface conditions, traceability, and markings.
* Issue quality reports.
* Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) or Dimensional and Visual Deviation Records (DVDR).
* Consult and read technical documents such as standards, procedures, requirements, etc., to support operational teams.
* Complete and maintain updated production management controls as well as supporting documents (WO, forms, time reporting, and phase handover).
* Lead or support resolution of issues identified during audits related to the dimensional inspection process.
* Ensure procedures for the area are up-to-date and fully implemented.
* Maintain a clean and organized workplace.
Secondary Responsibilities:
* Support metrology management by assisting in the organization and maintenance of measuring instruments;
* Support assembly and preparation of measuring instruments to ensure their effective utilization.

**REQUIRED COMPETENCIES**
**EDUCATION**
* Completed technical course. Fields: metallurgy, mechanical engineering, industrial mechanical engineering, or industrial automation.
**SKILLS**
* Basic knowledge of the English language.
* Proficiency in Windows/MS Office environment.
* Knowledge of Quality Systems and Tools.
* Handling and use of measuring instruments
* Reading and interpretation of technical drawings
* Advanced knowledge of GD\&T
* Interpersonal skills
**EXPERIENCE**
* 5 years of experience in Dimensional Inspection.
**DESIRED COMPETENCIES**
**EDUCATION**
* ABENDI Mechanical Dimensional Inspection Qualification – CD\-MC
* Extension courses in quality, manufacturing inspector (IF\-AT, IF\-CT, IF\-PP), among others.
**EXPERIENCE**
* Experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
