Support for projects and compliance with processes Document Control Intern Job Description: We are seeking a Project Documentation Control Intern to join the LATAM Resource Pool, working alongside the Document Controller to manage, organize, and control project documentation workflows. This is an excellent opportunity for students aiming to develop skills in document management, process governance, and project support within a dynamic, multicultural, and collaborative environment. Responsibilities: * Assist in receiving, registering, organizing, and archiving project documents. * Support processing and controlling documentation within management platforms (e.g., SharePoint and other internal systems). * Help configure document libraries, organize shared workspaces, and maintain backups. * Support version control, review deadlines, traceability, and distribution of documents to internal and external stakeholders. * Assist in preparing and issuing transmittals and processing documents received via transmittal. * Support monitoring compliance with Document Control processes, assisting in implementing improvements and corrective actions. * Contribute to preparing reports, spreadsheets, and project documents using Word, Excel, and Adobe. * Collaborate with internal teams, clients, suppliers, and third parties in exchanging documentary information. * Assist in meeting client documentation requirements and internal project management procedures. Requirements: * Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Administration, Engineering, Archival Science, Library Science, Information Management, or related fields. * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). * Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle large volumes of documents. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to follow procedures, maintain documentary discipline, and work collaboratively. * Adaptability to shifting priorities and demands in a dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications (non-mandatory): * Prior experience with SharePoint or Document Management Systems. * Familiarity with document control processes, versioning, and archiving. * Academic or prior internship experience involving document organization or data management. * Proficiency in English and/or Spanish. * Interest in project governance, information management, or related areas.
