




Job Summary: We are seeking a Machinery Operator to join our modern fleet, performing dynamic and highly complex operations with an emphasis on safety and efficiency. Key Highlights: 1. Focus on safety, operational efficiency, and technical excellence **We are currently seeking Machinery Operators to join our expanding fleet in Brazil.** You will have the opportunity to work aboard modern vessels equipped with advanced technology and participate in dynamic and highly complex operations, including: * **Anchoring and torpedo deployment** on **AHTS** vessels; * **Inspection, maintenance, subsea construction, and saturation diving** on **RSV, CSV, DSV, and MPSV** vessels; * **Flexible line laying** on **PLSV** vessels. We seek professionals with **experience in welding, boiler-making, machining, lathe operation, and pump maintenance**, combined with clear and concise communication skills and strong **capability in equipment and process maintenance management**, all focused on safety, operational efficiency, and technical excellence. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Comply with the provisions outlined in the “Chief Engineer’s Standing Orders”; * Perform tasks as instructed by the Duty Officer in the Engine Room; * Assist during watchkeeping duties; * Be present in the Engine Room or at another previously designated location during vessel maneuvers or emergency situations; * Maintain, under supervision of the Duty Engineer, all machinery, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic installations in proper working condition; * Inspect in advance the systems required for vessel operation, ensuring they remain continuously operational; * Immediately report to the Duty Officer in the Engine Room any irregularities observed during inspections; * Carry out scheduled maintenance and necessary repairs for installations related to your duties, under supervision of the Duty Officer in the Engine Room; * Perform general duties in the Engine Room and other vessel compartments as assigned by your supervisor; * Maintain installations, equipment, and tools entrusted to you in good operating, organized, and clean condition; * Participate in tank cleaning operations when requested by the First Mate and/or Chief Engineer; * Verify validity of your “Maritime Health Certificate” and ensure its renewal prior to expiration; * Participate in integrated operations; * Take precautions and contribute to prevention of marine environmental pollution; * Work carefully and technically, using required PPE to perform duties safely, and ensure that others involved also use appropriate PPE; * Understand your role and all other roles described in the vessel’s Emergency Operations Master Table; * Familiarize yourself with the distribution and operation of the vessel’s safety and lifesaving equipment; * Participate in risk assessments prior to activities.
