Job Summary: Experienced professional required to supervise and operate offshore ROV systems, manage teams, ensure safety and maintenance, and uphold contractual and regulatory compliance. Key Highlights: 1. Leadership and supervision of offshore ROV operations. 2. Team management with focus on safety and maintenance. 3. Decision-making and functional training in ROV. * Supervise, control, operate the system, and execute offshore operations for ROV systems in accordance with service orders specified in contracts and company safety regulations, working aboard platforms or specialized vessels, guiding the team, ensuring personnel safety, and maintaining equipment integrity, operational readiness, and conservation to meet contractual conditions and established safety standards. * Analyze and discuss results, instruct others, and motivate the team to monitor their own work to achieve desired outcomes. * Manage administrative changes and communicate their benefits to the team. * Analyze situations, evaluating various solutions and their consequences. * Make decisions based on sound judgment and inform relevant personnel. * Consider the financial and commercial implications of the project. * Manage complex and/or conflict situations. * Maintain team discipline and focus on corporate objectives. * Deliver functional training, providing guidance on mobilizations, operations, maintenance, behavioral aspects, self-control, and all other matters related to offshore activities involving ROV systems. * Operate the ROV system by precisely activating control devices, monitoring display panels and the underwater environment, adhering to established safety regulations to perform operations according to scheduled conditions and deadlines. * Pilot the ROV skillfully and safely, navigating it to designated locations while monitoring ongoing operations, potential obstacles or equipment issues, and implementing immediate solutions without compromising system safety and operability—thereby avoiding operational, asset-related, and personal losses. * Immediately report any deviations or identified risks. * Understand contractual parameters and devices to verify the scope of work for the unit, including its requirements, limitations, critical factors, and all other elements necessary for operational contract fulfillment. * Represent the company on systems where no Barge, Tecop, or Superintendent is present, assuming responsibility for operations and contractual compliance aboard the vessel. * Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance scheduling, ensuring adherence to deadlines, recordkeeping, operational requirements, repairs, adaptations, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, electronic, installation, operational, and testing activities for specialized tools, electrical and mechanical umbilical terminations—including fiber-optic cables—as well as testing of equipment, hydraulic valves, electric and hydraulic motors, pumps, and others—to guarantee system safety and optimal operational condition. * Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation related to the maintenance system, such as: onboard equipment maintenance logs—SUBLOG book, disembarkation forms, onboard reports, material requisitions, ROV maintenance records, and others—to meet contractual and/or legal obligations. * Support the professional development of the team, guiding them regarding motivation and behavioral aspects—especially under pressure and adverse conditions—as well as performance evaluations, recommendations for role movements, training, etc. * Actively participate in and promote improvements to the company’s QSSMS system.
