Job Summary: We are seeking an Instrumentation Analyst to ensure maximum availability and reliability of the power plant's measurement and control systems by performing predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance. We are expanding and seeking an Instrumentation Analyst to ensure maximum availability and reliability of the power plant's measurement and control systems through predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on instruments and control loops—aiming for operational efficiency and process safety. \#LI\-Onsite **Responsibilities and Duties** * Guide technicians and supervise third-party services during maintenance shutdowns; * Calibrate, replace, and repair control valves, positioners, and pressure, level, flow, temperature, and gas analyzers; * Support operations on Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and PLCs, including fault diagnostics and loop tuning (PID); * Perform maintenance and calibration of Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS), ensuring monitoring of gases such as NOx, CO, O2, and equipment availability in compliance with environmental regulatory requirements; * Maintain and calibrate online analytical instruments at the Water Treatment Plant (WTP/ETP) and thermal cycle—including conductivity, pH, silica, sodium, phosphate, and dissolved oxygen meters; * Ensure safety instruments (interlocks) remain operational and compliant with technical standards (NR\-10, NR\-12, and NR\-13\); * Develop or review maintenance plans, manage spare parts inventory, and document intervention histories in the maintenance management system; * Support implementation of technological improvements and upgrades to the plant’s automation systems. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed Technical Education in Instrumentation, Automation, Electronics, or Electrotechnics. (Bachelor’s degree in a related Engineering field is desirable); * Solid experience in continuous-process industrial plants (preferably thermal power plants, pulp and paper, steelmaking, or oil and gas); * Experience with turbines (Siemens, GE, Mitsubishi, etc.) is desirable; * Communication protocols (HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus); * Configuration and calibration of transmitters, smart positioners, and control valves; * Ability to read and interpret P\&ID diagrams and loop diagrams; * Experience with sampling systems, extractive probes, sample conditioning systems, and calibration gases; * Basic knowledge of demineralized water treatment for high-pressure boilers and permitted atmospheric emission limits; * Fiscal measurement using orifice plates per ISO 6167; * Chromatograph applied in natural gas systems; * Maintenance shutdowns; * ISOPLAN and AMS software; * Knowledge of steam/gas turbines and recovery boilers will be considered a differentiator; * Technical English for reading manuals; * Certification in instrument calibration; * Knowledge of infrared (NDIR), chemiluminescence, paramagnetic, and selective electrode analyzers. **Additional Information** * Working hours: 08:00–18:00, with a 1h12m lunch break (on-site cafeteria); * Free on-site parking; * Shuttle service: Domingos de Morais Station ↔ JBS / JBS ↔ Domingos de Morais Station; * Transportation allowance and meal voucher; * Medical/dental assistance and life insurance via partnership programs; * Gympass and Totalpass; * Profit-sharing program (PLR).
