All our positions are open to applications from persons with disabilities (PwD) and from marginalized groups, in accordance with applicable legislation and our commitment to equitable opportunity. **Learn more at:** [1] https://www.rosewoodhotels.com/pt/sao\-paulo **What We’re Looking For:** We are seeking a professional to assume the position of Commis at our luxurious hotel, renowned for delivering an extraordinary experience to our guests and clients. **Key Responsibilities:** * Assist in food and beverage service in restaurants, room service, and banquets, ensuring Rosewood and LQA standards. * Prepare and set up mise en place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including polishing utensils and organizing service stations. * Prepare coffee and simple beverages, replenish service stations, and provide restocking support to guests. * Remove soiled dishes and cutlery, organize clean and soiled linens, and deliver them to the laundry. * Set up, replenish, and break down buffets as needed. * Monitor supplies in the pantry and report restocking requirements. * Support servers during service; in their absence, take orders and enter them into the system. * Conduct rounds to collect room service trolleys and assist with events—including setup and restocking of A&B. * Adhere to hygiene, safety, and personal presentation standards. * Participate in mandatory hotel trainings, meetings, and programs. * Cooperate with other departments, control waste, and follow internal policies and safety protocols. **Key Requirements:** * Completed high school education; technical or academic training is a plus. * Minimum 6 months’ experience in food and beverage operations within hotels, restaurants, or similar establishments. * Attention to detail, agility, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure. * Ability to work effectively in a team, follow instructions, and maintain confidentiality. * Basic English proficiency preferred; additional languages are a plus. * Physical capability to lift up to 25 kg, perform repetitive motions, and remain standing for extended periods.
