




Responsible for monitoring the execution of test pieces and welding activities during welding procedure qualification (WPQ), welder and welding operator qualification (WQ); verifying results of non-destructive tests (NDT) performed on welded joints of equipment; verifying hardness using portable equipment; verifying that welders working on site are duly qualified; verifying that consumables used are those specified; performing receipt inspection of consumables; participating during joint preparation prior to welding, monitoring during welding execution, and post-welding visual inspection of the final weld; performing NDT on welded components in accordance with ABENDI DC-001 or by independent international bodies operating in compliance with ISO 9712 (in such cases, prior approval from PETROBRAS is required); professional qualified per PETROBRAS PG-25-SEQUI/CI-046 – “Non-Destructive Testing – Personnel Qualification”, as well as NBR 14842. Responsible for preventing defects in welded joints and ensuring continuous operational reliability of equipment; NBR-14842 establishes criteria for the qualification and certification of welding inspectors; thus, this technical activity achieves greater professional recognition due to its formalization in a Brazilian standard; Responsible for quality control of welding services performed by the company.
