As an Equipment Inspector, the professional must inspect and ensure that products manufactured, delivered, and/or received by Baker Hughes meet customer needs and expectations, always in compliance with applicable standards, procedures, and technical requirements.

The Equipment Inspector must be capable of performing both physical tasks—such as witnessing tests, assemblies, and general physical verifications—and documentary analyses—including internal records and supplier documentation.
As an Equipment Inspector, you will be responsible for:
* Witnessing pressure and functional tests of equipment and tools.
* Analyzing graphical charts and generating HTR (Hydrostatic Test Reports).
* Witnessing T\&A (Assembly and Test) phases requiring inspector oversight.
* Performing final delivery checklists for equipment and tools, prior to issuing CoC (Certificate of Conformance).
* Reviewing traceability/documentation/requirements/Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
* Opening and closing NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
* Conducting on-site or remote inspections at suppliers.
* Issuing Inspection Reports (IRs) / Customer Property Receipts (RCP).
* Performing Housekeeping/6S at the workstation and implementing QC process improvements.
* Reviewing manufacturing/maintenance process documentation and generating Databooks per each customer’s specifications.
* Issuing Certificates of Conformance.
* Systematically recording inspected products into the designated software (Oracle).
* Conducting receipt inspections per internal procedures, including visual and dimensional inspections where applicable.
* Reviewing technical documentation submitted by suppliers to verify compliance with all specified requirements for the item supplied.

To succeed in this role, you must have:
* Completed undergraduate or technical degree in fields such as: Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Welding, Oil & Gas, or related disciplines.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in Quality Control or Assembly and Testing.
* Proven experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
* Basic English language proficiency (minimum reading level).
* Completion of extension courses in quality, painting inspection, NACE, Fabrication Inspector IF\-AT, IF\-CT, IF\-PP, etc., is desirable.
* Completed undergraduate or technological degree in a related field is desirable.
* Proficiency in Windows/MS Office environment.
* Knowledge of Quality Systems and Tools.
* Technical drawing knowledge.
* Knowledge of assembly methods and processes.
* Ability to read hydraulic circuit diagrams/flowcharts.
