Check out the details: ### **Job Description** Assist the **Equipment Maintenance Manager** in managing, controlling, maintaining, servicing, and repairing equipment and materials, ensuring strict compliance with all legislative, manufacturer, and SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) requirements. The primary focus of this role is to provide specialized technical support for troubleshooting by assisting offshore teams, ensuring maintenance and traceability through detailed reports on services performed and support provided. * **Reports to:** Equipment and Maintenance Manager * **Key Contacts:** Equipment Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager, Project Manager, and Materials Manager. ### **Key Responsibilities** #### **Technical Support and Equipment Control (Primary Focus)** * **Offshore Technical Support:** Provide active support in troubleshooting technical issues (*troubleshooting*) reported by onboard teams through official channels (e.g., support forms and direct contact), assisting in rapid diagnosis of failures and problems with ROVs and equipment. Occasional offshore deployments for mobilizations or problem resolution when required. * **Reports and Traceability:** Generate detailed reports and records of all maintenance performed at the base and in support of operational fronts for control and traceability purposes. * **Preventive and Corrective Maintenance:** Assist the Manager in managing, performing preventive maintenance, providing technical assistance, and repairing ROVs and all other mechanical and electrical equipment at the base. * **Service Records:** Complete and keep up to date all equipment service and repair records in EM\&I’s materials management system. * **Spare Parts Planning:** Monitor and plan procurement of spare parts required to maintain optimal inventory levels for equipment maintenance. * **Equipment Development:** Assist in the development and improvement of tools and equipment according to operational needs. * **HSE and Cleanliness:** Strictly comply with SHEQ requirements and ensure application of good housekeeping and cleanliness practices in the workshop. * **Management Support:** Assist the Regional Operations Manager during periods of leave or absence of the Equipment Maintenance Manager. * Guide, support, and assist the offshore team on how to maintain equipment. #### **SCM and Warehousing Support (Secondary Responsibilities)** * **Inventory Support:** Provide occasional assistance in general inventory control, material shipping/receiving, and cargo handling. * **Project Manifests:** Provide occasional support in updating and maintaining project manifests with necessary backup documentation for consumed materials. ### **Job Requirements** #### **Academic and Technical Competencies** * **Education:** Completed technical program in Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanics, or Mechanics (mandatory). * **Operating Systems:** Practical knowledge of Windows and Linux is desirable. * **Computer Skills:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
