Detect, diagnose, and analyze defects to prevent failures. Support the Engineering team in resolving equipment and system issues, as well as improving them.**Job Description** =================== * Perform maintenance—electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic—for industrial and commercial machines, equipment, and facilities, prioritizing predictive, then preventive, then corrective actions, meeting established deadlines and targets * Carry out general electrical/mechanical overhauls of industrial equipment and facilities * Support material specification for equipment replacement, whether for corrective action or for improvement initiatives * Support the installation of new equipment and systems * Assist Engineering with daily maintenance and Facilities routines and procedures * Mentor Maintenance Technicians and Maintenance Assistants in daily tasks * Supervise external technicians performing contracted maintenance services **Required Qualifications:** * Electromechanical Technician OR Mechanical Technician + Electrical Technician * Experience in troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems * Experience with automation systems—PLC and electrical control systems * NR10 certification * Industrial maintenance experience * Experience using maintenance management software * MANDATORY: Immediate availability to work in Três Rios—RJ * Availability to work standard business hours or on a 4x4 schedule **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience maintaining CNC equipment (lathes, milling machines, grinders), lifting systems, compressors, pumps, electric motors, control and command systems, PLCs, fire detection and suppression systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems * Experience with wastewater treatment and HVAC systems * Experience with SCADA systems and Ladder programming * Experience in equipment inspection * Strong communication skills * Excellent teamwork ability * Problem-solving capability * Basic computer literacy * Basic English proficiency GE Aerospace is an equal opportunity employer in its recruitment and selection processes.
