The Surveyor’s tasks include, but are not limited to: * Ensuring that the appropriate parameters are entered into the navigation software and the hydroacoustic system software; * Operating and maintaining all survey equipment onboard the vessel; * Preparing and keeping updated the cable interconnection diagrams to be submitted to the Survey Coordinator for prior review; * Depending on the task to be performed, coordinating operations between the ROV, the vessel, and other units nearby; * Being familiar with the technical requirements of each operation, aiming to reduce the risk of personal and material accidents/incidents during their execution; * Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition, as well as maintaining updated maintenance histories for onboard equipment and reports on preventive and corrective maintenance; * Working collaboratively with the ROV and other onboard departments, assisting in maintenance related to installed survey equipment; * Participating in the planning and execution of mobilization and demobilization, ensuring that the equipment to be used complies with contractual requirements, technical and safety standards, and that certified copies thereof are included and archived onboard; * Knowing and maintaining image distribution systems (ROV / Navipac / Sonar / HIPAP / Video Link); * Monitoring pending material requests together with the Survey Coordinator and ensuring that the onboard spare parts and consumables inventory is up to date; * Correctly completing WRF / EF / NCR / RDO / wwDPR generated by the onboard Survey department, understanding that these reports must be clear and detailed to provide all necessary information to onshore technical support (in the case of wwDPR, only when applicable); **Requirements** **Requirements:** Technical course in Electronics or Civil Construction/Roads or Electrotechnics or Computer Science or Data Processing, or completed undergraduate degree in Oceanography, Cartography, Geology, Marine Biology or Geography * **Experience:** * Experience in the Survey field; **Knowledge:** * Navipac * Sonar * HIPAP * Video Link * Basic Cartography knowledge * Basic IT knowledge * Risk Analysis * Environmental Awareness * Advanced English **Diversity and Inclusion at DOF** This is the perfect role for you, but you don’t meet all the requirements?
