Surveyor responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Ensuring appropriate parameters are entered into navigation software and hydroacoustic system software; * Operating and maintaining all onboard survey equipment; * Preparing and keeping up-to-date cable interconnection diagrams, to be submitted to the Survey Coordinator for prior review; * Coordinating operations among the ROV, vessel, and other surrounding units, depending on the task at hand; * Being familiar with technical requirements for each operation, aiming to reduce risks of personal and material accidents/incidents during execution; * Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and ensuring all equipment remains in optimal working condition, as well as maintaining updated maintenance histories for onboard equipment and records of preventive and corrective maintenance; * Collaborating with the ROV team and other onboard departments to support maintenance related to installed survey equipment; * Participating in mobilization and demobilization planning and execution, verifying that equipment to be used complies with contractual requirements, technical and safety standards, and that certified copies thereof are included and archived onboard; * Knowing and maintaining image distribution systems (ROV / Navipac / Sonar / HIPAP / Video Link); * Tracking pending material requests with the Survey Coordinator and ensuring the onboard spare parts and consumables inventory remains up-to-date; * Correctly completing WRF/ EF / NCR/ RDO/ wwDPR reports originated by the onboard Survey department, understanding that these reports must be clear and detailed to provide all necessary information to onshore technical support (wwDPR only when applicable); **Requirements** **Requirements:** Technical course in Electronics, or Construction/Roads, or Electrotechnics, or Computer Science or Data Processing; or Bachelor’s degree completed in Oceanography, Cartography, Geology, Marine Biology, or Geography * **Experience:** * Experience in the survey field; **Knowledge:** * Navipac * Sonar * HIPAP * Video Link * Basic knowledge of cartography * Basic IT knowledge * Risk analysis * Environmental awareness * Advanced English **Diversity and Inclusion at DOF** This is the perfect role for you—but do you not meet all the requirements?
