We are seeking a **Drilling Engineer – MPD Operations Specialist** to join our operational team. Job Mission: A professional with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and solid expertise in MPD operations—including rig-up and equipment installation—whose primary responsibilities will be the implementation and supervision of MPD operations across the Constellation fleet. This position demands high versatility, as requirements vary significantly across project design, implementation, and operational phases. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Review technical specifications and contractual requirements for MPD equipment; * Conduct critical analysis of existing installations and identify gaps between specifications and current equipment; * Specify MPD equipment and liaise with manufacturers during procurement or system adaptation; * Manage unit adaptation projects, including at minimum: defining key tasks, monitoring schedules, and leading internal and external progress meetings; * Develop/review procedures related to MPD equipment installation (e.g., integrated joints, hoses, swivels) and operation of equipment under the drilling contractor’s responsibility (e.g., integrated joints, HPUs, umbilicals); * Develop/review interface procedures between the rig and service companies for activities involving rig interfaces—for example, pump start-up/shutdown, connections, dynamic flow checks, influx circulation, and changes in operating mode; * Develop/review contingency procedures serving as the basis for team training on handling abnormal situations; * Participate in operational planning meetings with clients and consolidate relevant information for rig preparation; * Investigate incidents related to MPD operations; * Coordinate MPD operational planning and after-action reviews; disseminate best practices and incorporate them into procedures to ensure continuous improvement in safety and performance; * Lead, supported by MPD tool pushers, risk assessment processes for units and operation-specific risk analyses; * Conduct workshops and training sessions with drilling teams to promote procedures and best practices; * Coordinate resolution of outstanding issues related to MPD systems; * Remotely monitor MPD operations and discuss key points with MPD tool pushers; * Provide on-site support for special and first-time operations; **Requirements and Qualifications** * Technical competence in applying standards related to MPD installations and equipment: API-6A, API SPEC 5L, ASME B31.3, ANSI/NACE MR 0175/ISO 15156, API SPEC 17K, API RP 7K, API SPEC 16D, API SPEC Q1, API RP 92M, API SPEC 16 RCD, among others; * MPD knowledge with hands-on experience in rig-up and operation of MPD systems; * Knowledge of conventional drilling and MPD (surface back-pressure, PMCD, and FMCD); * Strong project management capability; * Well control knowledge is an advantage; * Availability for occasional offshore assignments; * Advanced English proficiency. **Additional Information** **We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:** * Medical Assistance * Dental Assistance * Group Life Insurance * Daycare Allowance * Meal/Voucher Allowance * Private Pension Plan * Newborn Allowance * Birthday Allowance * Back-to-School Allowance * Birth Allowance * Gympass Have you considered building your career at a company certified as a *Great Place to Work*, operating in one of the fastest-growing sectors in the country? **Constellation** is the leader in ultra-deepwater drilling in Brazil and has maintained uninterrupted commitment to petroleum industry development for over 45 years.
