




Activities The Tax Department Assistant is responsible for ensuring the company’s tax compliance and supporting the analysis and execution of complex tax activities. Key responsibilities include: * Calculating direct and indirect taxes. * Preparing and submitting tax and ancillary declarations within established deadlines. * Managing and analyzing tax documentation. * Providing support during tax audits. * Monitoring tax legislation and its updates. * Assisting in the preparation of tax performance reports and indicators. * Providing technical support to the team and other departments. * Identifying opportunities for tax planning. * Participating in projects aimed at improving tax processes. * Training and guiding new employees in the tax area. Requirements and Qualifications * Proven experience in tax departments. * Knowledge of tax legislation. * ERP proficiency—Thomson Reuters systems. * Ability to analyze tax information. * Knowledge of tax calculation. * Experience preparing tax declarations. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Organizational skills and attention to detail. * Degree in Accounting Sciences or related fields. Desirable * Advanced knowledge of tax legislation. * Experience calculating taxes and contributions. * Proficiency in tax management software. * Clear communication and teamwork skills. Responsibilities and Duties * Preparing and analyzing tax and fiscal declarations. * Calculating and remitting taxes. * Supporting tax and fiscal audits. * Staying updated on tax and fiscal legislation. * Advising other departments on tax matters. * Developing managerial tax performance reports. * Identifying opportunities for tax planning. * Managing ancillary obligations. * Participating in team training and capacity-building initiatives. * Knowledge of Commerce, Industry, and Service Providers; monthly closing and tax calculation: ICMS ST, IPI, PIS/COFINS, IRPJ, CSLL (Presumed Profit), Withheld Taxes such as ISS, INSS, IRRF, and CSRF, DAS Simples Nacional (all Annexes).
