Job Summary: Senior Engineer responsible for developing, reviewing, and approving technical documents and studies in Petroleum Processing, covering all phases of engineering projects and risk management. Leadership in the development and standardization of technical documents. **Senior Risk Analysis Engineer \- Rio de Janeiro/RJ** **Responsibilities:** * Develop, review, and approve technical engineering documents for the Petroleum Processing discipline; * Develop, review, and approve technical engineering studies for the Petroleum Processing discipline; * Develop, review, and approve planning, listing, and quantification of documents produced by the Petroleum Processing discipline; * Develop and revise procedures and standardizations for 3D and 2D project documents of the Petroleum Processing discipline; * Provide technical support to other departments/sectors within the Petroleum Processing discipline; * Analyze the impact/need for full or specific system shutdowns during implementation of engineering projects into operational routines at oil production plants, with respect to the Petroleum Processing discipline; * Participate in all stages of engineering projects—from conceptual solution design, basic engineering, detailed engineering, implementation, and AS\-BUILT—within the scope of the Petroleum Processing discipline; * Provide technical support to the Project Management Office (PMO) in developing project schedules and fulfilling other PMO responsibilities related to unidisciplinary or multidisciplinary project coordination, as well as activities within the Petroleum Processing discipline; * Issue opinions defining project priorities, deadlines, planning, and resource allocation, specifically for the Petroleum Processing discipline; * Conduct and issue technical visit reports to suppliers, contractors, partners, and oil production units upon request, focusing on the Petroleum Processing discipline; * Participate in Working Groups, Committees, Audits, Inspections, Hearings, and Meetings; * Issue, approve, and review technical engineering documents applicable to the commissioning phase of projects, with respect to the Petroleum Processing discipline; * Monitor and provide technical support at the office, supplier sites, and operational areas during project implementation and commissioning phases, within the scope of the Petroleum Processing discipline; * Provide technical support to procurement departments and their contractors in supplier prospecting, selection, specification, and technical evaluations of materials/equipment related to the Petroleum Processing discipline; * Engage in prospecting new suppliers, equipment, and technologies applicable to the Petroleum Processing discipline; * Plan both the management and execution of commissioning, involving all departments interfacing with this activity (Operations, Contractors, Maintenance, SMS, etc.), including defining and detailing key technical elements, baseline schedule, organizational structure, and resources required for commissioning execution; * Provide all documentation related to receipt, assembly, and conditioning of physical assets necessary for executing the next commissioning phase (Pre\-operation and Start\-up); * Identify equipment subject to Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), define monitoring conditions, and assign responsible personnel for overseeing respective tests; * Monitor equipment, piping, and instrumentation assembly, cleaning, inspection, and installation; * Verification of compliance with regulatory standards; * Identification and documentation of non\-critical outstanding items; * Application of Checklists (CLs) or Item Verification Sheets (IVSs); * Continuously promote project analysis to enhance constructability. **Education:** * Bachelor's degree in Engineering; **Experience:** * Experience in petroleum processing engineering projects for the oil industry and offshore production units, and experience leading offshore industrial process risk and safety studies. **Technical Competencies:** * Microsoft Office tools; Power BI knowledge; SAP; software for monitoring safety studies and risk analysis; CAD tools. English proficiency sufficient for reading, comprehension, and speaking to perform the following tasks: interaction with suppliers, contractors, and partners; training/courses; interpretation and application of regulations, guidelines, standards, and procedures.
