Job Summary: Serve as the technical reference for metallic structure engineering in offshore oil production projects, coordinating phases and ensuring compliance with national and international standards. Preparation and verification of engineering technical documents **Senior Project Engineer \- Rio de Janeiro/RJ** **Responsibilities:** * Serve as the technical engineering reference for the metallic structures discipline team within the AS\-BUILT group (including AS\-BUILT 2D and 3D), in compliance with applicable national and international standards, guidelines, specifications, and procedures for offshore oil production plant engineering projects; * Prepare, verify, and approve engineering technical documents for the metallic structures discipline, in compliance with applicable national and international standards, guidelines, specifications, and procedures for offshore oil production plant engineering projects; * Prepare, verify, and approve engineering technical studies for the metallic structures discipline, in compliance with applicable national and international standards, guidelines, specifications, and procedures for offshore oil production plant engineering projects; * Prepare, verify, and approve planning, listing, and quantification of documents produced by the metallic structures discipline, in compliance with applicable national and international standards, guidelines, specifications, and procedures for offshore oil production plant engineering projects; * Evaluate change management requests to identify impacts on the electronic mock-up (3D model) and documents contained in the databooks of stationary production units. * Prepare and review procedures and standardization of 2D and 3D project documents for the metallic structures discipline, in compliance with applicable national and international standards, guidelines, specifications, and procedures for offshore oil production plant engineering projects; * Provide technical support to other departments/areas regarding the metallic structures discipline, in compliance with applicable national and international standards, guidelines, specifications, and procedures for offshore oil production plant engineering projects; * Analyze the impact of engineering project implementation on operational routines of oil production plants, specifically concerning the metallic structures discipline, in compliance with applicable national and international standards, guidelines, specifications, and procedures for offshore oil production plant engineering projects; * Participate in all stages of engineering projects—from solution conception, basic design, detailed design, implementation, and AS\-BUILT—specifically for the metallic structures discipline, in compliance with applicable national and international standards, guidelines, specifications, and procedures for offshore oil production plant engineering projects; * Coordinate or assist in coordinating all stages of uni- or multidisciplinary engineering projects, ensuring project timelines, quality, and feasibility; * Provide technical support to the Project Management Office (PMO) in developing project schedules and fulfilling other PMO responsibilities related to uni- or multidisciplinary project coordination activities, as well as the metallic structures discipline, in compliance with applicable national and international standards, guidelines, specifications, and procedures for offshore oil production plant engineering projects; * Issue opinions defining project priorities, deadlines, planning, and resource allocation for the metallic structures discipline, in compliance with applicable national and international standards, guidelines, specifications, and procedures for offshore oil production plant engineering projects; * Conduct and issue technical visit reports to suppliers, contractors, partners, and oil production units upon request, specifically regarding the metallic structures discipline; * Participate in Working Groups, Committees, Audits, Inspections, Hearings, and Meetings upon request; * Issue, approve, and verify engineering technical documents applicable to the commissioning phase of projects, specifically for the metallic structures discipline, in compliance with applicable national and international standards, guidelines, specifications, and procedures for offshore oil production plant engineering projects; * Monitor and provide technical support at the office, supplier sites, and operational areas during project implementation and commissioning phases, specifically for the metallic structures discipline, in compliance with applicable national and international standards, guidelines, specifications, and procedures for offshore oil production plant engineering projects; * Provide technical support to procurement departments and their contractors in supplier prospecting, selection, material/equipment specification, and technical evaluations, specifically for the metallic structures discipline, in compliance with applicable national and international standards, guidelines, specifications, and procedures for offshore oil production plant engineering projects; * Engage in prospecting new suppliers, new equipment, and new technologies applicable to the metallic structures discipline, in compliance with applicable national and international standards, guidelines, specifications, and procedures for offshore oil production plant engineering projects. * Occasional role as Job Leader for the discipline in the absence of the incumbent. * Plan both the management and execution of commissioning, involving all departments interfacing with the activity (Operations, Contractors, Maintenance, SMS, etc.), requiring definition and detailing of key technical elements, baseline schedule, organization, and resources necessary for commissioning execution; * Provide all documentation related to receipt, assembly, conditioning, and physical resources required for the next commissioning phase (Pre\-operation and Start\-up); * Identify equipment subject to Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), their monitoring conditions, and responsible personnel for overseeing respective tests; * Monitor equipment assembly, cleaning, inspection, and installation; * Verification of compliance with regulatory standards; * Identification and recording of non\-blocking pending items; * Application of Checklists (CLs) or Item Verification Sheets (IVSs); * Continuously promote project analysis to enhance constructability." **Education:** * Bachelor's degree: Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Naval, Architecture), with officially registered diploma issued by a higher education institution recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC), and valid registration with the respective professional regulatory body. Other engineering degrees may be considered if the candidate possesses the required experience. **Experience:** * Experience in naval engineering projects or structural projects for the oil industry and offshore production units. **Technical Competencies:** * Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with Power BI and SAP.
