We are seeking professionals to work as a ***Senior Underground Fleet Maintenance Engineer*** in Água Azul do Norte \- PA**.** **Responsibilities and Duties*** Define maintenance strategies to be applied to the underground mine fleet; Develop, review, and monitor mechanical, lubrication, predictive, and inspection maintenance plans to ensure organizational asset integrity; Optimize maintenance plans with a focus on cost and time reduction; Conduct equipment inventory and determine, with leadership approval, the criticality of mechanical assets; Support leadership in monitoring maintenance costs (Capex and Opex); Supervise implementation of projects aimed at continuous improvement of maintenance, production, safety, and environmental performance; Approve and validate technical drawings guiding manufacturing, maintenance, and recovery of machines and machine components; Review maintenance technical documentation; Lead mechanical maintenance management for equipment compliant with safety, quality, and environmental standards; Ensure compliance of the underground mine fleet with safety standards; Develop and issue performance indicator reports for maintenance planning control and measurement, maintenance costs, equipment quality, and reliability; Participate in technical visits by local and external suppliers; Define maximum and minimum stock levels for parts and materials of critical equipment; Lead investigations into mechanical equipment failures impacting safety, cost, maintenance, environment, and quality; Issue maintenance reports for leadership highlighting trends and recommendations to support better decision-making; Develop and review Mechanical Maintenance Procedures (MMP); Supervise engineering studies and mechanical maintenance projects appropriate for Capex resource allocation; Track technological innovations in pursuit of continuous improvements implementable within the Company; Provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians and supervisors on world-class mechanical maintenance best practices; Participate in developing the Company’s annual investment plan, supporting leadership with projections and calculation memoranda; Support supervisors regarding improvement opportunities in tasks, processes, and people; Map wear patterns of industrial machine parts and components; Supervise predictive data analysis jointly with engineering and inspectors to predict mechanical equipment failures. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Requirements:** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering; Experience in maintenance; Proficiency in maintenance management systems; Proficiency in equipment failure analysis using quality tools; Proficiency in metrology, interpretation and preparation of mechanical technical drawings; Proficiency in equipment lubrication; Proficiency in fluid mechanics; Proficiency in mechanical design (conceptualization and implementation); Proficiency in preventive maintenance techniques; Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic systems; Proficiency in machine elements; Technical proficiency in bearings; Experience in labor relations; Experience in contract management; Experience with applicable regulatory standards (NRs); Advanced Microsoft Office Suite; Intermediate English proficiency **Desirable Requirements:** Specialization and/or Master’s degree in the relevant field; CBH B. **Additional Information** Reside in, or be willing to relocate to, Canaã dos Carajás or Água Azul do Norte \- PA and/or surrounding region. ***A Modern Mining Company*** **Working Together to Create Value** One of our most important assets is our people, and our values differentiate us and sustain a unique culture we enjoy today and into the future. **How We Work Together:** * Acting with integrity toward all stakeholders. * Thinking and acting differently. * Building a culture of respect enabling our people to succeed. * Focusing on partnership and collaboration, not hierarchy. * Delivering superior results through effective planning and agile execution. * Doing what we commit to and executing accordingly.
