Job Description: Transports materials and equipment across various routes while submitting expense reports related to vehicle usage. Ensures vehicle preservation and safety by performing cleaning, adjustments, and minor repairs. * Loading and Unloading: Receives the Operations Order (OS) from the operations department containing customer identification and the loading/unloading route; verifies the location and types of material to be transported; then proceeds to the designated location to perform loading or unloading. * BDE Form Completion: At the start of each transport journey, completes the BDE form and external slip, documenting all activities and stops during transit to measure time intervals, stop locations, kilometers traveled, and collect information regarding daily allowances and working hours. * Cargo Securing: Assesses cargo type to determine appropriate securing method, using straps, chains, or ropes along with tarpaulins to ensure safe transportation. * Vehicle Inspection: Conducts pre-trip inspection of the assigned vehicle, checking engine oil level, cooling system, tires, fuel level, and body condition to ensure compliance with cargo transportation requirements. * Vehicle Cleaning and Maintenance: Inspects and keeps the vehicle cab clean; verifies vehicle documentation to ensure the vehicle remains in good condition and updates documentation when necessary. * Expense Reporting: Upon returning from each trip, submits an expense report to the settlement department, detailing all expenditures incurred during the transport journey to ensure transparency and accountability in financial resource usage and transport operations. * Vehicle Checklist: Performs weekly vehicle anomaly checks to complete the maintenance checklist, identifying preventive or corrective repairs to minimize vehicle downtime and ensure proper maintenance. * Maintains and preserves company assets, requesting maintenance, repair, and/or replacement whenever necessary; * Supports management on matters related to the scope of responsibilities, reporting and discussing issues and irregularities to assist in defining procedures and actions to be implemented; * Performs other related duties as directed by immediate management; * Attends training sessions and meetings whenever required and requested by the company.
