Assists in organizing and cleaning the work area. Prepare doughs, creams, fillings, and toppings according to established recipes. Bake cakes, pies, cookies, and other bakery products according to standards. Decorate and finish desserts, ensuring visually appealing presentation. Assist in assembling dessert plates. Keep the work area clean and organized, following food hygiene and safety regulations. Ensure proper storage and preservation of ingredients and products. Report ingredient replenishment needs to supervisors. Assist in inventory control of materials and ingredients. Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) for the pastry department.
