**Job Description**
We are looking for an Operational Technician I to develop best practices and strengthen our operations team, directly supporting our mission of positive impact on the planet.
**Responsibilities:**
* Install, commission, and start up water treatment systems at offshore facilities;
* Perform basic operation and maintenance of general water treatment systems;
* Conduct water analysis and/or sampling, preparation, identification, and shipment to laboratories for analysis;
* Perform site administrative tasks: material requisitions, operational reports (internal and client-facing), photographic documentation, and periodic expense reporting;
* Complete all field documentation—including RDOs, reports, forms, and check\-lists—using remote monitoring tools or other means, ensuring proper records for internal control and client presentation;
* Ensure availability of well-maintained maintenance resources on-site and properly inventoried;
* Conduct inventory and schedule orders for chemicals and other consumables (e.g., cartridge filters);
* Inspect and identify operational, maintenance, and other issues; provide first-response action and facilitate support teams in resolving problems;
* Perform basic preventive and corrective maintenance;
* Properly execute operational maneuvers and procedures to ensure optimal performance of treatment units, meeting performance parameters;
* Calibrate/verify analyzers/instruments per company procedure and send them for calibration/maintenance when required;
* Serve as the primary point of contact with the client, interfacing with internal support departments;
* Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and potential operational risks, promptly communicating them to management;
* Comply with client and corporate policies, such as EHS and Compliance;
* Maintain workplace organization and adherence to 5S principles;
* Properly execute hazardous energy isolation procedures;
* Prepare chemical solutions and dosages, if required;
* Monitor required analytical parameters during operation, if necessary;
* Support development and control of critical spare parts lists to ensure operational reliability;
* Execute energy isolation (electrical, potential, thermal, etc.) on equipment/systems scheduled for maintenance.
**Requirements:**
* Completed Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Electroelectronics, Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Automation, or Chemistry;
* Basic knowledge of Google Workspace tools;
* Knowledge of water treatment systems is desirable;
* Must reside in the Macaé region or nearby areas;
* Availability for offshore assignments, as required by operational demand;
* Valid CFT / CREA / CRQ registration
