**Posting Date:** 4 Sept 2025 **City:** Macae' **Location:**Macae', BR, 27915\-011 **Contract Type:** Permanent **Division:** Energy Project Solutions **Level of experience:** Senior RINA is currently recruiting for a **Mechanical Engineer (Cargo Handling)** to join its office in **Macaé (Remote)** within the Energy Project Solutions Division.**Mission** Responsible for projects, maintenance, and inspection of cargo handling equipment in oil and gas industrial plants, acting in problem solving, technical planning, and data management in SAP ECC.**Responsibilities** * Plan, control, and execute routine activities, equipment specifications, or analyses, including audits, projects, and investigations of failures, accidents, or incidents. * Identify and solve issues related to maintenance and inspection. * Develop technical standards and reports. * Use the SAP ECC system to consult data on installation sites, equipment, and materials. * Read and interpret technical documentation: specifications, hydraulic diagrams, technical drawings, equipment manuals, technical standards, and maintenance and inspection procedures. * Operate computerized maintenance support systems in industrial plants in the oil and gas exploration and production, refining, chemical, and petrochemical sectors. * Perform material queries in the PM and MM modules of SAP ECC. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with CREA registration. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in projects, maintenance, or inspection of cargo handling equipment in oil and gas industrial plants. * Knowledge in: + Office applications (text editors, spreadsheets, and presentations). + Reading and interpreting technical documentation (ETs, hydraulic diagrams, technical drawings, manuals). + Maintenance and inspection techniques. + Preparation of reports and technical standards. + Technical English. + SAP ECC (consultation of installation, equipment, and material data). **Desirable Requirements:** * Experience in maintenance planning and control. * Knowledge in failure analysis (fault tree, FMEA, block diagrams, fishbone diagram, etc.). * Experience with computerized systems focused on industrial maintenance (oil, gas, chemical, and petrochemical). * Experience in analyzing Maintenance and Inspection indicators. * Experience in equipment failure analysis. * Knowledge of PM and MM modules in SAP ECC. * Technical knowledge in risk and cost analysis (asset life cycle). **Competencies** * ADDRESS THE WAY \- Have a big picture of different situations and reinterpret it in a perspective way * BUILD NETWORK \- Forge trust relationships, across departments, and outside the organization * CLIENT INTIMACY \- Embrace internal and external client needs, expectations, and requirements to ensure maximum satisfaction * EARN TRUST \- Take everyone's opinion into account and remain open to diversity * MAKE EFFECTIVE DECISIONS \- Structure activities according to priorities, actions, resources and constraint * MANAGE EMOTIONS \- Recognise one's and other's emotions and express and regulate one's reactions * PIONEER CHANGE \- Actively embrace change and benefit from the new circumstances * PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT \- Promote commitment by keeping promises as a Role Model * THINK FORWARD \- Capitalise on experiences and translate them into action plans for the future RINA is a multinational company providing a wide range of services in the energy, marine, certification, infrastructure \& mobility, industry, research \& development sectors.
