Minimum Requirements:
* Proven experience in this role
* Advanced English proficiency
* Bachelor's degree or higher
* Other qualifications: knowledge of procurement methods and procedures, electronic integration systems (ERP), sourcing categories (divided into technical, operational, maintenance, services, and goods), proficiency in Microsoft Office
Responsibilities:
* Review and assist, where applicable, operations in defining procurement needs and required specifications (technical scope definition). Evaluate contract requisitions and supporting documents, critically reviewing the scope when applicable to improve the process in collaboration with operations.
* Receive, analyze, and process contract requisitions; prepare tender specifications and other related documents required for the procurement of supplies, materials, equipment, and services, from a contractual perspective.
* Lead tendering projects to identify new potential supply sources.
* Support the development and implementation of procurement activities, as well as assist in contract management, including related instructions, policies, and procedures.
* Review, evaluate, and approve specifications for issuing tenders and for selecting tender winners.
* Create and develop procurement catalogs (item lists and pricing) with strategic suppliers.
* Coordinate supplier-related negotiation activities.
* Negotiate optimal pricing and quality levels (SLA\- Service Level Agreement) for service, product, or equipment tenders.
* Advise management and stakeholders on best practices, in compliance with contracting-related matters.
* Ensure high-quality standards in procurement activities through analysis and review of procurement categories across all stages of the procurement process.
* Supervise procurement processes, ensuring that applied procedures comply with applicable laws and regulations, and requiring appropriate documentation.
* Manage tender phases, such as invitation, pre\-negotiation, pre\-award, and award, focusing primarily on conducting negotiations.
* Compare costs and evaluate quality and suitability of goods, materials, and equipment in collaboration with the requesting department.
* Interface with suppliers; stay informed about new products, market conditions, and trends.
* Analyze procurement trends to determine whether contracts should be enhanced/strengthened regarding quality, costs, SMS requirements, or operational aspects.
* Collaborate with internal departments to coordinate procurement activities and maintain supplier performance levels, always seeking the best solution for the company.
* Assist in training and developing less experienced team members.
