Test and inspect welded surfaces to identify defects An Import and Export company is seeking a Welder professional in Macaé. **Responsibilities:** Interpret blueprints and drawings and perform or read measurements to plan layouts and procedures. Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements. Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g., cut materials using an angle grinder to match measurements). Operate angle grinders to prepare parts for welding. Align components using calipers, rulers, etc., as well as clamping devices. Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead). Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects. Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety and other duties inherent to the role. Previous experience as an Assembler, Welding Operator, Welding Technician, or Metalworker may indicate suitability for some of the activities associated with this position. High school diploma required.
