Daily maintenance execution **Job Description:** ---------------------- Operate sugarcane harvesters by activating the hydraulic system to initiate operations, adjusting attachments—including top cutting, base cutting of sugarcane, elevator, sugarcane chopper knives, and conveyor belt—to harvest sugarcane according to the pre\-established schedule or as required by unforeseen circumstances. Synchronize onboard navigation systems (for any activity to be performed) and radio communications for work order issuance and \or leadership instructions. Monitor harvesting operational quality, observing aspects such as: stubble height, knife synchronization, topping, cane billet fragmentation, and soil compaction from wheel traffic. Ensure optimal operating conditions (row divider height, harvester speed, base-cutting pressure, primary extractor speed). Perform daily maintenance (battery and radiator water levels, engine oil level, hydraulic oil level, air filter and cab cleaning, general machine wear inspection, base-cutting knife replacement). **Essential Requirements:** ------------------------------ Driver's license class C, D, or E. Knowledge or experience in harvesting.
