The Cashier is responsible for cash register opening and closing, processing and receiving payments, health insurance reimbursements, and credit account transactions; Additionally, the Cashier stocks products and updates pricing in the sales area. **Required Competencies:** * Be courteous and friendly, adhering to a protocol of polite communication with others. * Demonstrate interpersonal skills by behaving empathetically, showing a high ability to notice, interpret, and anticipate others' concerns and feelings, respecting individuality and avoiding interpersonal conflicts. * Maintain a high level of discipline by following predefined procedures. * Possess the ability to abstract oneself from the environment and concentrate on task execution. * Exhibit high proactivity by anticipating problems and acting in advance to prevent them. The concept of **initiative** (taking charge of work or initiating tasks) falls under this item, as it is a fundamental condition for demonstrating proactive behavior. **Responsibilities:** * Provide customer service for collecting sales payments; * Receive, record, and securely store health insurance reimbursement and credit account vouchers; * Promote campaign-related items; * Collect overdue credit account payments; * Organize payment receipts (credit card, check, credit account); * Perform cash register closing; * Maintain workplace organization and cleanliness; * Stock products and update pricing on sales area shelves. * Maintain shelf organization and cleanliness throughout the store. * Perform other related duties as required by the department or organization
