PROJECT COORDINATOR

Description

Job Summary: Manage engineering projects, ensuring excellence from designer procurement through execution and delivery, optimizing processes and costs. Key Highlights: 1. Lead and monitor engineering projects across all phases. 2. Contribute to continuous improvements and technological innovations. 3. Ensure safety and quality standards during project execution. Approve, together with the team, the engagement of designers when applicable, prioritizing supplier excellence and efficiency while adhering to company guidelines; Provide rationalized and coordinated designs for construction execution within schedule; Monitor designer progress payments and verify compliance with legal obligations; Contribute improvements to processes, routines, and technological innovations, complying with current legislation; Oversee construction sites to ensure deliverables align with design specifications; Register all designers involved in each project in the company’s system; Register all projects under the client-Afonso França (AF) contract in the Afonso França Project Management System; Critically review designs prior to construction service execution events; Support construction sites through site visits to ensure deliverables align with design specifications; Control engineering project costs, timelines, scope, and risks; Lead planning, conceptual engineering, detailed engineering, procurement, installation, testing, and project closeout activities; Lead teams of third-party service providers executing projects; Ensure all safety and quality standards are met during project execution and delivery; Maintain an updated network of consultants and designers, identifying top partners for each project type—thus enabling optimal resource selection for the project under review; Contribute improvements to processes, routines, and technological innovations, complying with current legislation; Participate in meetings related to construction project management that analyze data and indicators reflecting on-site project performance. **Requirements:** Postgraduate degree; Knowledge of project planning and control; Proficiency in Microsoft Office / AUTOCAD / REVIT; Experience in civil construction.
