We use creativity and technical expertise to design solutions that truly shield our customers from risks—and also generate positive societal impact by preventing crime financing. **What does our day-to-day look like?** Here, routine means challenge: you will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for the digital security of millions of transactions. We monitor suspicious events and threats identified by our products (Desktop, Mobile, Browser, Transactional, AML) in real time, analyzing massive volumes of data to detect atypical patterns, frauds, and unusual activities. **Our work goes far beyond monitoring** * Create, review, and enhance business rules for our anti-fraud and anti-money laundering (AML) solutions. * Investigate incidents, analyze logs, perform reverse engineering, and automate alerts. * Apply Threat Intelligence, Behavioral Analysis, Threat Hunting, and Digital Forensics techniques. * Collaborate closely with Data Science, Development, Product, and Customer Experience teams, always applying innovation. Our tech stack and technical challenges We develop, evolve, and support our own solutions * Proprietary SDK (Android/iOS); * Endpoint agent (MacOS, Windows, Linux); * Web agent (JavaScript); * Risk engines powered by artificial intelligence and advanced analytics. **Activities:** * Monitor and analyze threats and fraud in real time; * Configure, fine-tune, and test anti-fraud and AML rules—from development through production; * Investigate suspicious events, analyze data and logs, support forensic analyses, and present your technical findings to the team and clients; * Participate in continuous solution evolution, suggesting risk-based improvements and continuously learning from market trends; * Prepare investigative reports and correlate data to enable agile decision-making; * Advance your knowledge of LLM tools and AI agents—we are actively implementing AI agents and maximizing the use of Large Language Models (LLMs) in our anti-fraud solutions—with focus on automation, efficiency, and new forms of digital analysis and investigation. **Requirements and Qualifications** ***What do you need to know to join Topaz?*** ***Specific Knowledge:*** * Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or related fields; * Basic coding proficiency in one or more programming languages (preferably Python, but Java, JavaScript, C\+\+, or C\# are also acceptable); * Basic SQL and NoSQL database query skills; * Data analysis capability (descriptive, predictive, prescriptive, diagnostic); * Understanding of TCP/IP networks, network services (e.g., HTTP, DNS, SMTP), operating system functionality (e.g., Windows, Android, iOS), and web and mobile applications.
