JOB: KITCHEN ASSISTANT Casa Albuquerque Café & Empório Campos do Jordão/SP Work Schedule: 6 days on / 1 day off rotation, 44 weekly working hours, with availability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays. Main Responsibilities: * Assist the chef and cooks in dish preparation; * Perform food pre-preparation, including washing, selection, cutting, and portioning; * Prepare ingredients, sauces, side dishes, and accompaniments according to kitchen instructions; * Assist in plating and finalizing dishes; * Organize mise en place before service begins; * Restock ingredients and utensils during operations; * Store food correctly, observing labeling, expiration dates, and temperature requirements; * Label prepared products and maintain expiration date tracking; * Assist in receiving, verifying, and organizing supplies; * Keep refrigerators, countertops, shelves, and storage areas organized; * Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, equipment, and surfaces; * Maintain a clean and organized workplace throughout the shift; * Strictly follow good food handling and safety practices; * Report to the chef any supply shortages, quality issues, or restocking needs; * Collaborate with the entire team to ensure speed, quality, and standardization of dishes; * Assist in kitchen opening and closing routines.
