If you identify with our company, join VALGROUP—we’ll go much further together! **\#transformplasticwithus** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Operate startup of blow molding machines; * Define technical adjustments and propose improvements to process parameters and technical specifications according to product requirements; * Participate in packaging approvals and testing during the blow molding process; * Inspect products according to the defined sampling methodology; * Conduct mold, resin, pigment, and tooling trials and changeovers; * Define and propose corrections to molds and tooling; * Monitor production, efficiency, losses, and quality against production department KPI targets; * Participate in developing corrective actions and define measures for identifying and resolving process failures; * Deliver blow molding process training to develop the operator team; * Monitor and evaluate operator performance following training; * Immediately report any adverse situations related to production, equipment, personnel, or environment that may affect the product; * Maintain team cohesion across shifts. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education:** Mechanical Engineering or related field **Specific courses for this role:** Fundamentals of Metrology: Knowledge of measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, height gauges). Quick Setup (SMED). **Specific knowledge:** FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), High Precision: Metrology, GD\&T, SPC, FMEA. **Solid experience in polyethylene processes.** **Relevant personal attributes:** Systems Thinking: Ability to view the process holistically and understand how a minor change in one step impacts the final outcome (and other areas of the company).
