At Andrade Gutierrez, all people are welcome, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, or disability. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Lead and coordinate all planning, engineering, and execution activities for highway construction projects, ensuring compliance with schedule, cost, quality, safety, and contractual performance objectives; * Develop and implement integrated project plans, including physical-financial schedules, budgets, resources, construction methods, and execution strategies, in partnership with Engineering, Production, Procurement, SSMA (Safety, Health, and Environment), and Contracts departments; * Conduct technical studies and feasibility analyses for highway projects, including route alignment assessment, earthworks, pavement, special structures (OAEs), drainage, signage, and interference analysis; * Prepare, analyze, and review executive and construction designs for highways, access roads, traffic control devices, drainage systems, retaining structures, foundations, and associated infrastructure; * Coordinate interfaces with suppliers, subcontractors, designers, and technical consultants, ensuring adherence to technical, regulatory, and contractual requirements; * Monitor and control physical and financial progress of the project, identifying deviations, risks, and bottlenecks, and proposing and implementing corrective and preventive actions; * Collaborate integrally in contract management, measurement, claims, amendments, and cost controls, supporting project leadership decision-making; * Ensure strict compliance with Safety, Health, and Environment (SSMA) standards, as well as applicable environmental legislation for highway infrastructure projects; * Provide ongoing technical support to field teams, guaranteeing application of quality standards, productivity benchmarks, and sound engineering practices; * Maintain updated technical records, management reports, and project documentation, ensuring traceability, governance, and transparency of information. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related fields); * Proven experience managing planning and large-scale highway construction projects within heavy infrastructure or civil construction companies; * Solid knowledge of earthworks, pavement, drainage, special structures (OAEs), geotechnics, and surveying; * Experience with physical-financial planning, cost control, and construction monitoring; * Proficiency in planning and control tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar; * Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; * Collaborative profile, with ability to operate effectively in multidisciplinary and highly complex environments; * Knowledge of SSMA standards and environmental legislation applicable to highway construction projects; * Ability to simultaneously manage multiple work fronts while maintaining a results-oriented focus; * Willingness to relocate and work onsite (at the construction site); * Project management certification will be considered a differentiator. **Additional Information** **Work Location:** Southeast Region * WE ARE AG It is through the strength of \#OurPeople that we build the future and reach ever further! * OUR HISTORY Andrade Gutierrez was founded in 1948 in Minas Gerais, born from the dream of three young engineers who began building roads—and never stopped.
