Job overview: **Area: Grinding** **Summary of main job activities:*** Ensure the availability of working and backup cylinders mounted for rolling mills, according to established operational procedures. * Operate overhead crane, hoist, tractor, and forklift for cylinder and bearing mounting, dismounting, and transportation, according to established procedures. * Identify and support corrective and preventive maintenance activities on working and backup bearings, according to established procedures. * Comply with Occupational Safety procedures by participating in safety talks and corporate trainings, using PPEs, and properly handling loads and equipment, among others. * Maintain housekeeping in the work area by cleaning and organizing the workplace. * Perform cleaning, assembly, and disassembly of rolling mill cylinder bearings. * Identify and fix leaks found during inspection, assembly, and disassembly of bearings.
