We are seeking a **Mechanical Technician II** to join our **Maintenance** team at the **Pecém** terminal. You will support maintenance activities for port equipment, contributing to smooth operations and ensuring everyone’s safety. Join a team that keeps our equipment in perfect condition and helps move the global economy! **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on port equipment, ensuring safety, technical quality, and compliance with manufacturers’ specifications. * Work on mechanical and hydraulic systems, including disassembly, adjustments, and replacement of components such as bearings, shafts, cylinders, and valves. * Carry out routine maintenance tasks (lubrication, re-tightening, filter replacements, cleaning, and washing of equipment) according to established plans. * Interpret technical drawings, hydraulic schematics, and manuals, correctly applying instructions in the field. * Maintain air-conditioning systems on equipment, ensuring operational performance and comfort. * Support more complex activities, stepping in for senior technicians when required and guaranteeing continuity of routines. * Prepare technical reports and complete work orders, ensuring traceability of maintenance activities. * Collaborate closely with operations, safely using vehicles, equipment, tools, and providing technical support to the team. * Participate in shift meetings and support continuous improvement of maintenance activities. **What talent are we looking for?** * **Education:** Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering and/or Electromechanical Engineering. * **Experience:** Experience supporting maintenance of industrial or port equipment, performing basic maintenance tasks and following safety procedures. * **Driver’s License:** Category B. * **Mandatory Training:** NR35 – Small Forklift Operator. * **Lean Mindset:** We seek someone with a strong continuous improvement mindset—a naturally curious individual committed to solving problems at their root and motivated to make things better every day. **Behavioral Competencies:** * **Responsibility and Safety Orientation:** Strictly adheres to safety, environmental, and operational standards, procedures, and best practices. * **Teamwork:** Collaborates effectively with colleagues and technicians, maintaining clear communication and a shared focus on collective results. * **Organization and Carefulness:** Keeps the workplace, tools, and equipment orderly and in good working condition. * **Proactivity and Attention to Detail:** Demonstrates initiative in tasks and performs activities with precision and technical quality.
