Job Summary: The housekeeping assistant is responsible for keeping all areas of the hotel clean, tidy, and organized, as well as attending to and assisting guests with their needs. Key Highlights: 1. Responsible for cleaning and organizing all areas of the hotel. 2. Attends to and assists guests with their requests and needs. 3. Ensures maintenance of areas, equipment, and work utensils. The housekeeping assistant keeps apartments, rooms, bathrooms, reception, and other public-access areas of the hotel clean, tidy, organized, and inspected; attends to and assists guests with their personal requests and needs. o Performs cleaning and organization activities in all areas of the hotel, including external areas such as the façade and sidewalks, as these are guest entry and exit points; o Performs standardized cleaning and organization of UH\`s (apartments); o Places and removes linen items in apartments; o Safeguards guests\` belongings; o Restocks and checks minibar inventory; o Ensures maintenance of areas, equipment, and work utensils; o Reports any necessary repairs inside apartments to the Maintenance Department; o Handles chemical cleaning products designated for specific uses; o Prepares items for shipment to third-party laundry services, controlling the flow of items sent; o Performs washing and processing of linen items; o Conducts Housekeeping Department inventory; o Uses required PPE.
