Support in various organizational activities Refrigeration and Building Maintenance Company seeks a Carpentry Assistant in Rio de Janeiro (Downtown). **Responsibilities:** Assist in analyzing the component to be fabricated by consulting drawings, models, specifications, or other instructions. Assist in woodworking tasks including marking, cutting, turning, and carving using appropriate tools and machines. Assemble wooden components by fitting and securing them with suitable materials. Paint, varnish, or wax fabricated components and furniture. Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and other fittings onto assembled components and furniture. Sharpen cutting tools and perform periodic maintenance on machinery. Assist in executing other tasks of similar nature and complexity associated with the organizational environment. Previous experience as an Assistant Carpenter, Furniture Assembler, Carpentry Helper, or Woodworking Machine Operator may indicate suitability for some of the duties in this position. Completed elementary education required.
