Retail trade company seeks a Buyer professional in Natal. **Responsibilities:** Conduct supplier and market option research and analysis, seeking alternatives that meet the company’s needs. Negotiate prices, delivery deadlines, payment terms, and other conditions with suppliers, always aiming to reduce costs and improve commercial conditions. Prepare and formalize purchase orders according to internal demands, ensuring quantities and specifications meet the company’s requirements. Monitor inventory levels and ensure efficient material replenishment, avoiding both product shortages and overstocking. Track the logistics process from purchase order issuance to final delivery, ensuring deadlines are met and verifying consistency in delivered quantities and quality. Organize and maintain up-to-date all records, contracts, and documents related to the procurement process. Conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations based on quality, timeliness, and adherence to commercial agreements, to ensure continuity of strong partnerships. Monitor market trends and price changes to support strategic procurement decisions and anticipate cost fluctuations. Serve as a support contact for other departments—such as production, logistics, and finance—regarding material and service acquisitions. Perform other duties related to the position.
