Description: * Completed high school education; * Completed technical nursing course; * Active COREN registration; * Intermediate-level computer and Microsoft Office skills. * Perform nursing procedures and care for critically ill patients of the Institution undergoing clinical or surgical treatment; * Implement preventive measures for identified risks based on institutional protocols; * Record relevant information regarding patients under their responsibility, ensuring patient safety and continuity of treatment; * Participate in the surgical process, including verifying the surgical schedule, checking the operating room, inspecting surgical kits, receiving and escorting the patient to the operating table, performing preoperative precautions, setting up the operating table, assisting during surgery, transferring the patient to the post-anesthetic recovery room, and preparing the operating room for the next surgery; * Organize the anesthesia process in operating rooms, including arranging materials, anesthetic medications, and necessary equipment; transferring the patient from the stretcher to the operating table; assisting during anesthesia administration; and participating in the anesthesia process for patients undergoing cardiac surgery—which requires specialized care, time, equipment, devices, and medications; * Provide individualized care to critically ill patients admitted to ICUs or clinical units; * Collect and/or forward exams requested by physicians; * Verify medical and nursing prescriptions, signing and stamping them; * Assist in performing medical procedures such as chest drainage, bronchoscopy, endoscopy, colonoscopy, intracath insertion, etc., assembling specific materials for these procedures to stabilize hemodynamic parameters; * Instruct visitors during visiting hours on hand hygiene and its importance in preventing infection among patients under their care; * Monitor material and medication expenditures as well as expiration dates, aiming to prevent waste; * Assist nurses and/or physicians in performing invasive procedures and supply required materials; * Work in critical areas, providing care to patients with higher severity levels and those using invasive devices; * Check and replenish supplies at ICU bed panels, such as gauze, catheters, suction equipment, sterile gloves, Ambu bags, etc.; * Verify trays prepared for emergency procedures, date them, and restock missing items; * Inspect the emergency cart and test the defibrillator daily; * Perform other duties as required or at the discretion of the unit nurse; * Admit patients to the unit together with the nurse, receiving admission forms and medical records, escorting patients to their beds, identifying them—and their medication bins; * Participate in shift handovers, bed-by-bed, communicating essential information to colleagues alongside the entire nursing team; * Participate in planning nursing care; * Actively participate in the risk management program, preventing errors and harm to patients under their care; promptly notify the responsible nurse upon identification of such risks, implement interventions to minimize risk, and document actions in the prescription; * Carry out all nursing actions except those exclusively reserved for registered nurses, according to the General Procedures Manual of the Nursing Division; * Participate in patient discharge planning, jointly with the nurse, providing guidance to patients and their companions regarding care and devices, if needed. * Verify ideal conditions for patient referral in the preoperative phase of surgeries; promptly respond to verbal requests or call bell notifications from inpatients; * Safely administer medications, preventing patient harm; knowing High-Alert Medications; * Maintain and ensure cleanliness of the unit, reporting non-conformities in this process to the hygiene service; * Maintain and preserve unit equipment and materials, notifying the equipment center about needs and withdrawal in case of disuse; * Keep patient medical records and documents organized; * Notify the nurse regarding repairs, maintenance, or missing equipment in the unit; * Participate in defining the daily individual material requisition for patients. 25121802025535560
