Team Management: \- Coordinate and supervise laboratory technicians and assistants. \- Ensure continuous training and team development. \- Assign daily tasks and responsibilities. \- Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback. 2\. Quality Control: \- Implement and monitor quality control procedures. \- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and laboratory protocols. \- Conduct internal audits and prepare the laboratory for external audits. 3\. Sample Collection: \- Supervise patient sample collection processes. \- Ensure safe and hygienically appropriate sample collection. \- Guarantee correct use of collection materials and equipment. 4\. Sample Analysis and Processing: \- Supervise and participate in sample processing and analysis. \- Ensure accuracy and validity of laboratory results. \- Implement new analytical methods and techniques as required. 5\. Resource Management: \- Manage inventory of reagents, materials, and equipment. \- Place replenishment orders for materials. \- Ensure maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment. 6\. Safety and Hygiene: \- Implement and monitor laboratory safety procedures. \- Ensure compliance with biosafety regulations. \- Train staff on safe work practices and emergency response. 7\. Documentation and Reporting: \- Maintain accurate records of all laboratory activities. \- Prepare technical and administrative reports. \- Manage Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). 8\. Patient Care: \- Ensure patients receive appropriate care during sample collection. \- Address patient questions and concerns. \- Maintain a welcoming and professional environment. 9\. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: \- Identify opportunities to improve laboratory processes. \- Implement new technologies and innovative practices. \- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team. 10\.
