The sanitation assistant will work with the following activities: Perform maintenance on water distribution networks and sewage collection; Clear blockages in sewage collector networks; Clean screens at sewage pumping stations; Conduct inspections; Load and unload materials; Perform cleaning of areas; Organize materials and equipment; Monitor, treat, and report fraud; Perform valve and tap operations; Check low pressure and water shortages; Comply with safety regulations, using appropriate PPE and collective protection equipment according to operational activities; Operate small and medium-sized automotive equipment, such as mini excavators, mini hydro-jetters, etc. Perform washing and disinfection of water reservoirs. \*\*\* Sabesp is much more than a sanitation company. Come to Sabesp! \#Let'sTransform! \#ComeToSabesp! **Responsibilities and duties** * Perform operational and maintenance activities in environmental sanitation systems, covering quality control, water supply and distribution, sewage collection and disposal. * Tasks include operating and maintaining systems, opening and closing trenches and hydraulic valves, as well as installing, maintaining, relocating, and extending water and sewage networks, along with performing maneuvers on distribution networks and transmission lines. * The professional is also responsible for transporting equipment, materials, and tools, collecting samples for analysis, and operating equipment at pumping stations, low and/or high voltage transformer substations, and sewer unblocking machines. * Occasionally performs water meter readings, cuts off service, delivers bills, suppresses and restores water connections, and conducts, under guidance, metrological tests of water meters in the field, reporting results and providing clarifications to customers. * Other responsibilities include performing disinfection services on networks and reservoirs; assisting, under supervision, in electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and civil tasks; and driving vehicles to carry out job functions. * The assistant must ensure organization, safety, and preservation of the workplace, performing other related activities as needed. **Requirements and qualifications** * Complete elementary education. * Professional qualification course. * **Desirable: National Driver's License – CNH.
