We seek a Solutions Architect to operate strategically and technically within our Center of Excellence (CoE), supporting architectural initiatives in hybrid environments and complex integrations with SAP S/4HANA. The role is fully remote (São Paulo) and indefinite in duration.
We expect a professional with strong analytical capability, systemic vision, clear communication, fluent English, the ability to simplify complex problems, and consultative, collaborative engagement in multidisciplinary environments.
**Responsibilities**:
* 5+ years as a Solutions Architect or equivalent role.
* Hands-on experience integrating legacy systems with SAP S/4HANA.
* Proven track record in SaaS and hybrid environment projects.
* Participation in system acquisition or development decisions.
* Experience developing architectural artifacts for governance.
Analysis and understanding of on-premises and cloud (SaaS) solutions
* Map and deeply understand legacy applications, current infrastructure, existing integrations, and technical constraints.
* Evaluate SaaS solutions from architecture, security, data, and integration perspectives.
Architectural modeling using C4 notation
* Create C1–C4 diagrams (Context, Container, Component, and optionally Code).
* Clearly document current (AS-IS) and future (TO-BE) states, maintaining versioning and traceability.
Design of integration between multilingual legacy systems and SAP S/4HANA
* Design synchronous and asynchronous integrations using APIs, IDoc, RFC, queues, or messaging.
* Define contracts, authentication standards, data governance, resilience, and error handling.
* Address specifics of systems written in diverse languages (Java, .NET, Python, Node.js, etc.).
Design of integration between third-party SaaS systems and S4/HANA
* Evaluate native SaaS capabilities (APIs, webhooks, event streaming).
* Ensure security (OAuth2/OIDC/Tokenization), version control, monitoring, and end-to-end observability.
* Develop an integration blueprint covering SLAs, RTO/RPO, consistency requirements, and compliance.
Evaluation of buy, rent, or build solutions
* Conduct technical and functional analyses grounded in measurable criteria: fit, extensibility, total cost of ownership (TCO), risk, integration, scalability, and lock-in.
* Prepare decision matrices and executive reports with evidence-based recommendations.
Development of architectural artifacts
* C4 diagrams
* Integration architecture
* API catalog
* ADRs (Architecture Decision Records)
* System capability maps
* Data models and information flows
* Modernization/Cloud Journey plans
* Ensure Git versioning and adherence to corporate standards.
Preparation of technical reports and documentation
* Produce technical evaluation reports, risk assessments, NFR compliance analysis, architectural impact assessments, and recommendations.
* Document objectively for diverse audiences: executives, engineering teams, business squads, and auditors.
Participation in technical meetings
* Lead architecture workshops (design sessions).
* Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, product, and SAP teams.
* Translate business needs into technical requirements—and vice versa.
Evaluation of third-party solutions
* Perform technical and security due diligence.
* Assess architecture, integrations, engineering practices, SLAs, certifications, roadmaps, and security posture.
* Issue technical opinions with identified risks and mitigation recommendations.

**Mandatory Requirements**
* Architecture: C4, DDD (tactical/strategic), Event-Driven, API-First, SOA, integration patterns.
* SAP S/4HANA: IDoc, BAPI, RFC, OData, SAP CPI/Integration Suite, extensibility, security, and authorization.
* Integration: REST APIs, webhooks, messaging, ETL/ELT, API gateways.
* SaaS: assessment of fit, risk, extensibility, integration, and data models.
* Cloud: AWS/Azure/GCP (AWS preferred), networking, IAM, security, observability.
* Languages: familiarity with multiple ecosystems (Java, .NET, Node, Python, etc.).
* Security: OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, MFA, encryption, data governance.
* Tools: Draw.io, LeanIX, Git, Jira, Azure DevOps, Postman, Swagger.
**Education**: Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or Systems Analysis.
