After all, it is 100% Brazilian and built by people who truly believe in the words of our founder: ***“Hard work conquers all!”***. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Serve as the legal liaison with public entities, participating in hearings and sessions, and advising internal departments to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and tax regulations. * Support the formalization of contractual relationships required by the company, drafting contract templates and responses to public entities, ensuring adherence to compliance rules and mitigation of tax risks. * Support negotiations of third-party contracts, conducting technical reviews of draft agreements and contributing to mitigation of legal and tax risks, aligned with the company’s internal policies. * Draft responses to legal and tax inquiries, providing necessary information and documents for the company’s judicial and administrative proceedings, coordinating closely with external law firms. * Handle resolution of proceedings before public agencies—including tax-related claims—by preparing and reviewing documents such as powers of attorney, unilateral statements, etc. * Continuously monitor changes in tax legislation and the latest jurisprudential interpretations, ensuring compliance and advising internal departments on regulatory impacts. * Manage the company’s trademark and patent registrations, mediate negotiations with clients and suppliers, and implement preventive measures to avoid unnecessary litigation. * Draft and review contracts, powers of attorney, declarations, draft agreements, and other documents related to the company’s legal and tax relationships, representing the company in lawsuits, hearings, proceedings, and trials. * Provide preventive guidance to internal departments regarding tax implications of business operations and contracts; support the structuring of tax planning initiatives and interpretation of tax regulations, ensuring legal security and tax efficiency. * Support management of administrative and judicial tax proceedings, prepare defenses and appeals, assist in managing tax liabilities, and negotiate outstanding debts with public entities. * Support implementation of internal controls and corporate governance policies, ensuring traceability, prevention of contingencies, and compliance with regulatory and tax requirements. * Support institutional communication for the Legal Department by producing executive content and reports reinforcing the company’s image as a benchmark in compliance and legal responsibility; develop guidance materials and internal campaigns on legal and tax topics, promoting a culture of prevention and compliance. * Understand and apply practices of conscious consumption and natural resource preservation, in accordance with the company’s SSMA (Safety, Security, Health, and Environment) policies, recognizing environmental impacts and risks, and emergency response procedures. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Law, completed; * Active membership in the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB); * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is desirable. **Worth noting:** Working hours from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. **Additional Information** **Here’s what we offer:** * Monthly product basket. * Cafeteria: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. * Health insurance and dental plan. * Cuidar Program: focused on health care and social assistance for you and your family. * Meal allowance. * Christmas basket at year-end and children’s kit for your kids. * PPR – Profit Sharing Plan. * Payroll-deductible loan. * Study grant. * Educary – Education program for youth and adults. * Life insurance with coverage up to 24 monthly salaries. * Gym benefit (Wellhub).
