Sanitation Technician
The sanitation technician will perform the following activities:
* Monitor the operation of water supply and sewage treatment systems;
* Verify quality standards and collect samples for laboratory analysis;
* Conduct inspections at treatment plants, distribution networks, and collection systems;
* Support preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and infrastructure;
* Identify and assist in resolving operational failures;
* Interpret technical drawings and schematics;
* Participate in the implementation and expansion of networks and treatment plants;
* Assist in reducing losses and optimizing systems.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Perform operational activities related to basic sanitation systems under direct supervision.
* Monitor the operation of water supply and sewage treatment systems.
* Verify water, effluent, and waste quality standards.
* Collect water, sewage, and waste samples for laboratory analysis.
* Conduct technical inspections at treatment plants, distribution networks, and collection systems.
* Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and networks.
* Assist in identifying and resolving operational failures.
* Read technical drawings and schematics of sanitation systems.
* Monitor the implementation and expansion of networks or treatment plants.
* Participate in initiatives to reduce water losses and improve system efficiency.
* Assist in analyzing operational data and performance indicators.
* Support educational campaigns related to water, sewage, and environmental systems.
* Advise customers and communities on procedures and best practices.
* Maintain up-to-date technical records.
* Comply with environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Technical high school diploma in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Sanitation, or related fields;
* Registration with the respective professional council.
* Valid Brazilian National Driver’s License (CNH) preferred.
