Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior Programmer for software programming, testing, and maintenance, using requirement gathering and analysis. Key Highlights: 1. Programming, testing, and maintenance of computer programs 2. Knowledge of remote sensing and geotechnologies 3. Professional profile: proactive and helpful Orbital Remote Sensing (satellite imagery) and its processing; Aerial Photogrammetry and Laser Profiling (LiDAR); Multi-purpose Technical Registration (urban and rural); Thematic Mapping (land use and land cover, among others); Surveying and Geodesy; Geographic Information Systems (supply, development, and support); Training. We are seeking a Junior Programmer responsible for programming, testing, and maintenance of computer programs, supported by requirement gathering and analyses conducted by systems analysts. REQUIREMENTS Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, or related fields; Intermediate English proficiency; Basic knowledge of Ruby on Rails; Intermediate knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; Intermediate knowledge of frameworks such as React, React Native, Angular, or Vue; Advanced knowledge of React or React Native; Knowledge of configuring and using GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server; Knowledge of APIs for communication with GeoServer and/or ArcGIS Server; Experience with georeferenced databases, especially PostGIS; Experience with OpenLayers or Leaflet libraries. Professional profile: proactive, helpful, and eager to continuously acquire new knowledge..
