If you seek to put your ideas into practice, make a difference, and fulfill your purpose, this is where you belong. **Opportunity – Key Responsibilities** **What You Will Do:** * Conduct applied microbiological risk assessments for manufacturing processes, utilities, personnel and material flows, considering impacts on the final product. * Perform, verify, and validate microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process products, finished products, water, air, and surfaces according to pharmacopoeial standards and applicable regulations. * Supervise the environmental monitoring program, evaluating microbiological trends and proposing preventive actions. * Continuously assess the effectiveness of sanitization, hygiene, and environmental control practices. * Participate in multidisciplinary teams reviewing projects, processes, and changes, with a focus on mitigating microbiological risks. * Implement and reinforce Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in the microbiology laboratory and related areas. * Deliver technical training on hygiene, behavior in classified areas, sanitization, and safe sample handling. * Lead investigations of microbiological deviations, out-of-specification (OOS) results, contaminations, and environmental failures. * Propose and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), evaluating their technical and regulatory effectiveness. * Support change control processes with a focus on microbiological impact assessment. * Serve as the technical reference for the team, supporting analysts in critical decisions and validations. * Participate in strategic planning for the department, proposing improvements and standardizations in microbiological procedures. * Support coordination in defining priorities, timelines, and technical strategies for the microbiology department. **Knowledge and Skills:** * Good Laboratory Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices * Official Pharmacopoeial Methods * Computer literacy (Word, Excel) * Advanced knowledge of current regulations issued by regulatory agencies * Approx. 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry working in Microbiology. **Education:** Bachelor’s degree — Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or Chemical Engineering, with active professional registration Advanced English (desirable) **Additional Information** **BENEFITS:** * Meal and Food Allowance * Transportation Allowance/Charter Bus * Life Insurance * Medical Assistance * Dental Assistance * Daycare Assistance * Annual Bonus * Private Pension Plan * Pharmacy Network Agreement * Wellhub * Birthday Day Off * Paternity Leave – 30 days * Maternity Leave – 6 months * 100% subsidized company products
