Job Summary: Operates equipment for cleaning and sand removal from cast parts, assists in gate and burr removal, and inspects parts to identify defects. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operating equipment for cleaning and sand removal from cast parts 2. Assisting in the removal of gates and burrs from metal parts 3. Inspecting cast parts to verify shape, strength, and surface finish Operates equipment used for cleaning and sand removal from cast parts. Assists in removing gates and burrs from cast metal parts using grinding machines and cutting and polishing tools to level and finish their surfaces. Inspects cast parts to verify shape, strength, and surface finish, segregating and identifying defective parts. Assists in pouring molten metal. Assists manually and with machinery in removing sand and cores from cast parts. Maintains a clean and organized work environment, adhering to good practices in hygiene, quality, environmental protection, and safety.
